Now official, the NBA will return to Paris on January 19, 2023. Due to the health crisis, the French capital has not been able to host the American teams since 2020 and a meeting between the Milwaukee Bucks and the Charlotte Hornets. This time, the Chicago Bulls and Detroit Pistons will ignite the floor of the Accor Arena in Paris, the NBA said in a press release on Tuesday, May 24. Unable to highlight the best formations in the league, the NBA presents here a contrast between two teams with a historic rivalry.
If this meeting will please many French NBA fans, Evan Fournier shared his anger after this announcement. The 29-year-old plays for the New York Knicks and would love to be a part of their team in Paris. That’s why the vice-champion of the last Tokyo Olympics shared his disappointment in a message from his Twitter account.

Unlike Evan Fournier, Detroit’s Frenchman Killian Hayes should be on the Paris court on January 19. An opportunity for the French public to watch the performance of the actor, who will blow out his 21st candle on 27 July. As a reminder, Killian Hayes became the most drafted French player in history after being selected seventh overall by the Pistons in 2020.
Guess who’s back?
