“The Bear” Season 3 Eyes Winter 2024 Production Begins;  Jeremy Allen White teases Carmy’s escape from the refrigerator

EXCLUSIVE: Deadline has learned that season three has arrived on FX/Hulu The bear will begin production in late February/early March.

This year we passed The bear Emmy Nominated/Golden Globe Best Actor, Comedy TV Series Winner Jeremy Allen White, aka young chef Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto The bear. White stars in the new A24 film, the iron claw, as wrestler Kerry Von Erich, also known as “The Texas Tornado.” The film about the tragedy-stricken Von Erich family premieres on December 22. At a time when the middle of the country needs more films, here’s a sports drama that goes straight to the heartland.

The last time we saw Carmy The bearHe was locked in a walk-in refrigerator during the restaurant’s “Friends and Family” night, an interlude Allen tells us he “hopes” the character escapes in Season 3. FX/Hulu recently picked up a third season of announced the 13 Emmy-nominated series.

Although Allen hasn’t seen the scripts yet, he’s hoping for a guest-star-studded Season 3 to rival Season 2 Episode 6’s “Fishes,” which featured a number of famous television and movie stars as Carmy’s family members, such as: B. Jon, starring Bernthal (as Mikey, Carmy’s late brother), Bob Odenkirk as Uncle Lee, Sarah Paulson as Cousin Michelle, John Mulaney as Cousin Michelle’s partner Stevie, Gillian Jacobs as Richie’s then-wife Tiffany and Jamie Lee Curtis as Donna Berzatto, Mikey and Carmy’s alcoholic mother as well as Carmy’s sister Natalie Berzatto (Abby Elliott), Uncle Jimmy (Oliver Platt) and Neil (Matty Matheson).

The New York native would like to see a season 3 episode where “we can get as many (guest stars) as possible to come back for a day,” ala “Fishes.” Allen tells us he would love to see the return of Olivia Coleman’s chef Terry. She was last seen in season 2 Forks” as the owner of one of the best restaurants in the world, where Richie (Ebon Moss-Bacharach) works temporarily. Allen said he was also excited to see Curtis back as Momma Donna. Allen’s dream guest stars include Oscar winner Sam Rockwell and Emmy winner John Turturro.

Everyone shines The Iron Claw Starring Zac Efron (Kevin Von Erich), Harris Dickinson (David Von Erich) and Stanley Simons (Mike Von Erich), the real-life fraternal wrestling family led by their overbearing father and former wrestling legend Fritz (Holt.) to the 1980s McCallany) were under pressure to succeed at all costs. Allen’s Kerry was a one-time NWA World Heavyweight Champion and a four-time WCWA World Heavyweight Champion. Director Sean Durkin, who also wrote the film, grew up in the UK as a die-hard American wrestling fan; Erichs fate bears an uncanny resemblance to that of his own family.

The bear was created by Christopher Storer, starring Ayo Edebiri, Lionel Boyce and Liza Colón-Zayas. Matty Matheson was cast for the second season, while Edwin Lee Gibson, Corey Hendrix, Platt, Bernthal, José Cervantes, Richard Esteras, Carmen Christopher, Chris Witaske, Joel McHale, Curtis, Gillian Jacobs, Robert Townsend, Molly Gordon, Alex Moffat, Ricky Staffieri, Mitra Jouhari and Maura Kidwell return.
