Hulu announced it today MoveWhich became the world’s most watched Korean original on the streamer and Disney+ earlier this summer and will be available in English in December.
The 20-episode series, an adaptation of Kang Full’s popular webtoon, began streaming on August 9.
Starring Ryu Seungryong, Han Hyojoo and Zo Insung. Move tells the story of a group of South Korean spies who seek to protect their super-powered children from harm and exploitation by evil government agencies. The spies were originally recruited for their extraordinary abilities such as flight, instant healing and enhanced senses, but disappeared without a trace after being tasked with increasingly dubious missions. As their children demonstrate similar abilities and a dangerous killer quickly takes out super-powered individuals, the parents must leave their peaceful lives behind to become the “monsters” they once were.
earlier this month at the Busan International Film Festival Awards Move won six Asia Content Awards, including the Best Creative Award – given to recognize content that achieved the most notable achievements among the nominations – and the Best Visual Effects Award. Screenwriter Kangfull won the award for best writer Move Actors Seungryong, Lee Jungha and Go Younjung took home the awards for Best Actor, Best Young Actor and Best Young Actress respectively.
