The Middleton family is growing! Kate’s brother will become a father for the first time

The entrepreneur announced that he is expecting his first child with his wife, Alizee Thevenet, in a sweet message on social networks.

On Wednesday, Prince William’s brother-in-law posted two photos of him showing his baby bump while sharing a sweet moment with one of his wife’s many dogs.

“We couldn’t be more excited… finally Mable ❤️”Next to the images James wrote. “We had a very difficult start to the year after losing my beloved Ella, but we will end the year with the most precious of small additions to our growing family. ❤️”

James, 36, announced that his 15-year-old therapy dog, Ella, passed away in January.

She paid tribute to her beloved dog on Instagram. “It is with great sadness that I announce the death of my dear Ella. Ella has been with me for 15 years, from my darkest days to my happiest days. I will miss her very much.“, He wrote.

It must be said that the dog played a big role in the love story between James Middleton and the Frenchman Alizée Thevenet. James’ wife indeed first met Ella when she approached to say hello to the dog at the South Kensington Club in Chelsea, London. “I was pretty embarrassed, so I went to apologize and bring Ella back.“James recalled that funny moment in an interview with The Telegraph three years later.”I didn’t know I had just met my future wife thanks to Ella. If I didn’t trust Ella, I wouldn’t have taken her to the South Kensington Club and she wouldn’t have been able to say hello to my fiancee.”

The couple got engaged the following year and finally married in 2021 in the south of France.

The Middleton family will therefore continue to grow. Princess Kate, a mother of three children, George, Charlotte and Louis, and her sisters Pippa, Arthur, Grace and Rose have also hosted three young children.
