Hondelatte says (Canal+ Docs): "I wasn’t going to rewrite the stories for Bring in the Accused."

Christophe Hondelatte’s program moves from the radio waves to the small screen. What does the 58-year-old journalist have in store for us? Descriptions.

The flagship presenter of Europe 1 is adapting Hondelatte’s talk show for television. For the first time in France, it will tell its stories in an environment created entirely from XR (short for Extended Reality, editor’s note). Immersed in a virtual courtroom, a crime scene, or an interrogation room, the facilitator will single-handedly interpret the roles of all the news he traces. Initially, the old criminal cases will be covered: the cases of Calmette, Landru, Dominici, Denise Labbé and Jacques Fesch. ” These are much less well-known old stories. I wasn’t going to rewrite the plot of Bring the Guilty… “justifies Christophe Hondelatte, who was the source of the launch of the program in France 2 in 2000. A new episode will be released every weekend, and the most impatient can find the full first episodes on MyCanal.
