The scandal around Vanderpump Rules known as “Scandoval” snuck up to the “Hot Topics” table The view.
A Bravo fanatic, Alyssa Farah Griffin followed the news surrounding Tom Sandoval after he admitted to cheating on his longtime girlfriend Ariana Madix with her co-star Raquel Leviss. The conservative co-host admitted to smuggling a headline from the reality series to debate the ABC talk show, despite Whoopi Goldberg’s initial refusal to talk about the topic.
“Apparently a real War of the Roses is brewing Vanderpump Rules. Tom Sandoval and Adriana Madix,” she said before being corrected “Ariana” by Griffin, to which the show’s host replied, “Whatever.”
Goldberg continued, “Divorced, I thought it was called spitting… Divorced after they were caught cheating, but they both still live in the house they bought together… OK?”
After understanding the matter, Goldberg summarized that Sandoval and Madix continued to live in their home because “neither of them could afford to give the other the house.”
Griffin agreed, saying, “I wormed my way into this topic because Whoopi refuses to do it from pump… And I’m obsessed.”
“[Sandoval] deceive [Madix] after ten years together, and instead of having the decency to say, “okay, I’ll find a motel for a few weeks and we’ll find out.” He’s sitting right there with the woman he cheated on while she was out,” Griffin added.
Sunny Hostin had a tip for Madix and suggested she make his life miserable, adding: “I’ll invite all my friends, my team will be there.” I would make a lot of noise when he was sleeping. He wouldn’t have a moment’s peace, he wouldn’t want to be there. He would move.”
Ana Navarro pointed out that Sandoval has yet to pay off the mortgage and doesn’t have much left over to pay for a motel room. Goldberg provided insight by saying, “If you walk in and take all your stuff with you… you won’t get any rest either.”
At the end of the segment, Goldberg can be heard telling Griffin, “I hope you’re glad I talked about it.”
The banter between the ladies was great fun as it dealt with a lighter pop culture topic.
