Safety first!
The Beijing Express route is prearranged with the countries through which the Ministry of Foreign Affairs passes. Before starting, a doctor identifies medical infrastructures close to the route. During filming, two doctors and two security guards follow the racing peloton by car, ready to intervene. Each pair is equipped with a GPS tracker so they can be easily found.

As at a summer camp, couples are given a list of recommended attire. It’s up to them to skillfully manage their keychains. Generally, those who take on a lot of work hand over some work along the way.
Days off
Every six days, participants are given 24 hours of rest. They stay in a modest hotel on a full board basis. Opportunity to make up for them!
