In front of Louis, Rose and Clotilde announce to Axel that they are going to see the notary, and therefore is entitled to his share of the estate, including cash, royalties, restaurants, and the institute if he wishes. Inspired by romantic comedies, he sends a message to his father that Eliott needs to see him urgently.

Teyssier comes to the flavor festival. He pulls Axel aside and apologizes for hiding the truth from him. She makes it clear that she wants things to work out between them. However, he loses his temper when Axel talks to him about inheritance. After years of trying to keep it just for themselves, he unintentionally promises to refuse them because he finds it suspicious. She advises him to stay away from Louis. When the latter joins them, Teyssier accuses him of manipulating Axel. His nephew responds by saying that Louis has opened his eyes. Axel criticizes his uncle for thinking only of himself. Angered, Teyssier maliciously sends a client for a walk, which revolts Clotilde.

Clotilde pulls him aside to ask if she’s up to something bad because she knows deep down she doesn’t want to have a brother. Louis refuses. To find out more, she goes to see Claire in the kitchen and insists that Axel is already in a difficult situation and has a right to know what’s going on.
