Anna Faris signs with CAA

EXCLUSIVE: Experienced comedian Anna Faris (mommy) returned to the CAA for representation after working on a number of issues there over the past decade.

Faris starred alongside Allison Janney in seven seasons of the Emmy-winning CBS sitcom mommybetween 2013 and 2020. In this award-winning series, she played Christy, a newly sober single mother trying to get her life back on track in the Napa Valley while dealing with the antics of her wayward mother, Bonnie (Janney).

Faris broke through in the early 2000s with her lead role Scary movie Franchise developed by the Wayans brothers and also known for starring in comedy feature films as The dictator, Overboard, Observe and report and Only friends.

She produced and starred in the sorority comedy The pet rabbit and the rom-com directed by Mark Mylod what is your number. Additional film credits are included Wait …, Brokeback Mountain, Lost in translation, Take me home tonight, happy face, My awesome ex-girlfriendand The pretty girl.

Faris also played a key role in the Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs and Alvin and the Chipmunks animated franchises while applying her talents in the VO arena to films such as Yogi Bear and The Emoji Movieand range of Potty trained to The Simpsons.

She created and hosts the top-rated advice podcast Unqualifiedafter launching in 2015 and releasing a bestseller of the same name in 2017.

Faris will continue to be represented by imPRint and Robert Offer at Sloane, Offer, Weber & Dern.
