Joe Schlosser, EVP of Communications at Banijay Americas, is leaving the company and its various iterations after more than a decade.
The veteran communications chief is about to open his own communications gauntlet and will continue to work with some parts of the Banijay business.
Chelsea fan Schlosser joined Shine America as SVP, Communications in 2012 before joining Shine North America for Endemol following its merger with SVP, Communications big brother Owner.
He was promoted to EVP, Communications at Banijay Americas in October 2021 following the acquisition of Endemol Shine by the French media group.
While there, he oversaw the promotions for shows like CBS’s big brother, fox cookTBS’ eradicate as well as bravos Below deck and some The Real Housewives show.
He was also responsible for all corporate, consumer and internal communications in North and Latin America for Banijay.
Schlosser will consult with and handle communications with Banijay Americas the real world Producer Bunim/Murray Productions at his new venture.
Prior to joining Shine America, Schlosser spent 10 years at NBCUniversal in various top communications roles, most recently as SVP, NBC Entertainment Television Publicity from November 2009 to November 2012.
Prior to joining NBC Entertainment, Schlosser was SVP, Communications, NBC Universal Domestic Television Distribution, where he worked among agreement or no agreement and The Martha Stewart Show.
Schlosser began his career in communications for The Hallmark Channel after serving as LA Bureau Chief for TV Trade Broadcast and Cable.
