Lisa Rinna owns it and talks about it after she leaves The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. The reality show star recently announced that after 8 seasons, she would not be returning for the 13th season of the Bravo series.
After leaving, Rinna reveals what she didn’t like about her last season on the show and doesn’t hold back.
“I hated fucking this year. For many reasons,” she told Interview Magazine. “My mother is dead, we all know that. But that is not the main reason. The story just wasn’t told as two-sidedly as I would have liked. What do you think of that?”
Rinna refers to the moment when the RHOBH Cast took a trip to Aspen and Kathy Hilton apparently had a meltdown and made some crazy claims. According to Rinna, the moment was intense and completely shocked her. Unfortunately, the cameras were not available at the time and nothing was filmed and rumoured.
“Too bad there were no cameras in Aspen. It was something that happened so spontaneously. I didn’t think to turn on my voice notes at the time,” she said. “When someone has a nuclear fallout, you don’t think, ‘Oh, I have to film this.’ You don’t think about it. When you’ve actually tried to save somebody and get somebody out of a club because they hurt themselves, you’re like, ‘What the hell do I do? Do I call the police? I don’t know what to do.’ So yes, it was a shame that there were no cameras on this Sprinter bus, because we were done filming. We wanted to stop.
Hilton joined RHOBH in season 11 as the “friend” of the housewives, meaning she’s only part-time. She quickly became a fan favorite for her quirky and unabashed personality. Fans weren’t too thrilled about Rinna coming out to Hilton, and with no visible evidence, Rinna had a hard time siding with her. During BravoCon at a panel with the cast in October 2022, Rinna really felt the wrath of the fans when they booed her when she took the stage. Hilton, on the other hand, was applauded and applauded at every performance she made throughout the weekend.
Rinna feels there was a “smear campaign” against her online, saying “there was a person on the payroll who did it.” She added: “But here’s the thing. You should see the monster’s tail. She was just showing her tail.
Despite the animosity between the two, Rinna said she welcomed Hilton during her performance at the People’s Choice Awards.
“Listen, Kathy Hilton is great. There are wonderful things about Kathy Hilton. As her sister Kim told her, “Just don’t lose your temper during the show,” Rinna said.
