Zara: I grew up in Montreal, Canada. My route was fast, like on the highway! My career in France started two years ago. I released the first album, Treacherywith this quote, you will go, it was a hit. Another album is being prepared, it will be released in June. Today I have the chance to represent France at Eurovision. I’m even excited for this!

The French variety stunned me. I learned to sing by listening to Edith Piaf, Barbara and Dalida. I’m a fan of that time when love songs made you shudder. I like simple and powerful texts that talk about love, liberation, dreams and hope. Mine are very narrative and you can easily visualize them like a movie.

What do you expect from this participation in Eurovision?

It’s a great honor to represent France there and it’s a pleasure to be surrounded by such a team. I want to show the world what I can do and share it with them. For me, music is above all a message of love and hope that I want to convey to as many people as possible.
