EXCLUSIVE: How to live with your parents (for the rest of your life) Creator Claudia Lonow returns to ABC with a new comedy project also inspired by her life. ABC is in development Boss, a single-camera workplace comedy from Lonow and ABC Signature, Deadline experienced.
Written and Directed Produced by Lonow and inspired by Lonow’s real life experiences, boss is a multigenerational ensemble office comedy about two women, enemies and rivals with little in common, who end up hiring each other’s equally contrasting daughters as their assistants.
ABC Signature is the studio.
Lonow created four shows that transitioned to series: By accident on purpose for CBS, Rude awakening for show time, Good girl not for oxygen and How you live with your parents (For the rest of your life) for ABC. As Boss, How to live with your parents (for the rest of your life), which aired for one season on ABC, was inspired by Lonow’s real life. As in the plot, Lonow moved back in with her own parents after a divorce. Most recently, she served as co-executive producer on an NBC comedy series i feel bad and consulting producer Occupy. Lonow is represented by Gersh and attorneys Jon Moonves and Jean Tanaka.
