TikToker Kagan Brooks uploaded a video of her husband boarding a Spirit Airlines flight with his own parachute strapped to his back “just in case.”
Although it was meant as a joke, the avid traveler was shocked to find that TikTok quickly went viral with over 1.6 million views.
Many people thought the parachute backpack was a “clever” and “good” idea.

Brooks’ clip shows her husband getting on the plane with his parachute backpack.

In a follow-up video, she points out that the stunt was a prank.
Responding to those who thought it was a real idea, Brooks explains, “My husband brought his gear to Miami so he could go skydiving.
“I thought people understood humor, but the comment section says otherwise.”
