Searches for cheap houses in Sicily soared after the TV show Amanda and Alan’s Italian Job.
According to Rightmove, since the BBC One show launched in January, the number is up 255 per cent on the same period last year.
The property website compared online searches for Sicily between January 6 and February 22 this year with 2022.
