TV host Timur Miroshnychenko says daughter Mia wants to be a singer, while son Marko has become shy about performing on stage.

Timur Miroshnychenko Shares His Kids' Career Dreams

Ukrainian television presenter Timur Miroshnychenko has revealed what careers his children hope to pursue when they grow up.

Miroshnychenko and his wife Inna are raising four children. He said his daughter Mia decided several years ago that she wanted to become a singer.

Mia's Eurovision Moment

Miroshnychenko told Novyi Kanal that Mia was around four years old when she first watched the Eurovision Song Contest. From that moment, she told him she wanted to be a singer so that her father could commentate while she performed on stage.

He said Mia has since taken vocal lessons regularly and never misses a class, even asking to be booked in herself whenever there is free time. He added that she understands she needs to prepare hard and consistently, and is working purposefully towards her goal.

Eurovision is Europe's long running televised song competition, in which countries send performers to compete for votes from juries and the public. Miroshnychenko has worked as a commentator and host connected to the contest, which is likely what inspired his daughter's ambition.

Son Marko Grows Shy on Stage

Miroshnychenko said his son Marko once expressed a wish to follow in his father's footsteps but has since become uncomfortable performing in front of large crowds.

He recalled that Marko struggles with stage appearances during events at his kindergarten. During one recent occasion, children were asked to recite poems, and although Marko had learned his poem by heart with his father's help, he went up and said nothing. When asked afterwards why he had not recited it, Marko told his parents that there had been so many people that he had felt a bit shy.

The Other Children's Plans

Miroshnychenko also said his goddaughter Angelina dreams of becoming a manicurist, while his younger son Marsel has not yet decided on a future career.

His wife Inna previously shared how their godson has changed over the past three years.
