Actor Timothy Shalame bought a jacket previously worn by musician Bob Dylan for 25,000 dollars at a Julien's rock-n-roll auction, according to People Talk. The 29-year-old actor shared photos on a blog posing in the colorful striped denim jacket, which features flowers and character designs.
Dylan previously wore the patchwork jacket in the 1987 music drama Fiery Hearts. Shalame did not know Dylan before starring in the film Unknown to Nobody, but became a fan of the musician and spent his reserves to acquire the piece. Vogue recently announced the auction lot, which sold for 25,000 dollars, or approximately 2 million rubles.
Auction lot and Dylan response
Addressing followers on his blog, Shalame wrote: "Some of you have been enlightened with me for more than seven years! Know how deep I am. You are with me for life."
Dylan appreciated Shalame's success in the film, also referred to as Not known by everyone. The musician strengthened his sympathy for unrelated records and personal goods collections, which served as additional capital for the actor.
