Kinopoisk has released a series of stills from the movie Challenge, starring Julia Peresild, Milos Bikovich, and Vladimir Mashkov, according to People Talk.
On October 5, 2021, the first film crew in world history launched to the ISS to shoot the movie. The crew included actress Yulia Peresild, director Klim Shipenko, and cosmonaut Oleg Novitsky. Audiences around the world watched the rocket launch. The crew stayed in orbit for 12 days before landing safely on Earth.
Cosmonaut Training Center Filming
The plot centers on a doctor who flew into orbit to save an astronaut. Shooting is now taking place on the territory of the Yuri Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center and the Voronovo sanatorium.
Work on the movie will continue on Earth until about the end of 2022. A release date for the film has yet to be determined.
