Tess Daly has travelled to Mallorca with friends to recharge following reports her former husband, Vernon Kay, has purchased a £3 million house close to their Buckinghamshire family home.
The 57-year-old television presenter posted photographs from her holiday on Instagram, posing in a plunging blue and pink swimsuit from her Naia Beach range while relaxing by the sea.
"A little time away to slow down, reset and recharge," Daly wrote in the caption.
"Switching off, and soaking up some sun and sea, and feeling gratitude for quality time with the best of friends," she added.
Close to family
Her trip to the Spanish island coincides with reports that Kay, 52, has bought a property 15 minutes away from the marital home in Beaconsfield.
The BBC Radio 2 DJ is reportedly still living with Daly but is preparing to move into his new home when renovations are complete.
The Sun quoted a source saying Kay bought the house, which reportedly features a swimming pool and sprawling grounds, to stay near his ex-wife and their two daughters.
"Vernon has now bought a place close to the family home in Buckinghamshire," the source told the newspaper. "It means he can stay close to their girls, which is something important to both him and Tess."
The source said Daly is supporting Kay with the move. "It's going to be very strange for them after living together for over two decades, so they're both treating the situation with care and respect."
The Daily Mail has contacted a representative for Kay for comment.
Amicable separation
The couple, who have estimated personal fortunes of around £10 million, announced their separation in May after 23 years of marriage.
In a joint statement, the former Strictly Come Dancing presenter and Kay said they had reached a mutual agreement to part ways.
"After much consideration, and with a deep sense of care and respect for one another, we have made the decision to separate amicably," the statement read. "This has not been an easy choice, but it comes from a place of mutual understanding and a shared desire of what is best for both of us."
They said they remained great friends and were fully committed to their roles as parents to Phoebe, 21, and Amber, 17.
"There are no other parties involved in this decision. We kindly ask for privacy during this time. We will not be making any further public comments," the couple wrote.
Daly and Kay were last seen publicly together in February, when they co-hosted an episode of The One Show.
