Spanish television network Telecinco has begun casting former reality stars for the upcoming eleventh season of Temptation Island.

Temptation Island 11 Cast Features Former Reality Stars

Spanish network Telecinco has revealed that several former Gran Hermano and Temptation Island contestants have auditioned for the reality show's upcoming eleventh season in Madrid.

The new installment, hosted by Sandra Barneda, represents one of parent company Mediaset's major programming investments for the 2026 to 2027 television season. Filming is set to return to the show's customary villas in the Dominican Republic.

Manu Vulcan, Alba Garcia and Mara are among the celebrities auditioning for Temptation Island 11 on Telecinco.

Details of the casting process were unveiled in the first episode of preview show Rumbo a La isla de las tentaciones 11, released on streaming platform Mediaset Infinity. The preview confirmed that several familiar reality television personalities have applied to join the cast both as established couples and as singles.

Among the prospective contestants are Manu Vulcan, a former participant on Gran Hermano 19, and Alba Garcia, who appeared on the eighth season of Temptation Island. The pair began dating last autumn and are seeking to participate as a couple. They are joined by Aida Vila, a former single from season eight who is looking to test her current relationship, and Mara Espinosa, a contestant from season ten who aims to experience the format from a new perspective.

Former Gran Hermano participants Adrian Creus and Cristian Orv also attended the audition sessions. While Creus competed during the trials, Orv successfully secured a place as one of the featured singles for the eleventh season.

Return of viral star Jose Carlos Montoya

Mediaset has also brought back former participant Jose Carlos Montoya for the new season. Montoya emerged as a major television figure in Spain during 2025 following his appearance on season eight of Temptation Island.

His dramatic run along a Caribbean beach in search of his partner became an international viral meme. The moment gained global attention, with figures including NBA basketball players and American actor Whoopi Goldberg shouting host Sandra Barneda's frantic line, "Montoya, please!"

Rather than returning as a VIP single, the Seville native has been hired as an advisor to guide couples navigating the audition process. Speaking to candidates, Montoya explained that the greatest reward he gained from his own time on the island was personal growth and self-love.

Montoya told applicants that he would handle relationship dilemmas very differently today. He stated that if he ever caused a couple to break up, knowing the emotional pain involved, he would leave the show together with that person. He added that he intends to avoid repeating certain behaviors observed in previous seasons.

In his closing advice to the prospective cast members, Montoya urged candidates to always speak honestly, noting that truth ultimately prevails. Telecinco has not yet announced further details regarding the broadcast dates or full roster for the upcoming season.
