Selecta Visión announced on X that the Street Fighter II: V anime series will receive a physical release on Blu-ray and DVD. The announcement arrived without prior rumors and brings what the distributor called the most complete version of the series.
Pre-orders are available on the Selecta Visión website ahead of the October 28 release. Prices range from 39.99 euros for standard versions to 79.99 euros for the collector's edition.
The company also offers an exclusive web edition for 79.99 euros. Customers who pre-order this version receive a movie as a gift alongside a sticker album.
The collector's edition includes a 42-page book and a 36-page art book. It also contains a set of eight pins, five stickers and 14 maxicards.
Series background
Street Fighter II: V aired in the mid-1990s and spans almost 30 episodes. The anime reinterprets the origins of the franchise fighters from a different perspective.
The plot follows young fighters Ryu and Ken as they travel the world to perfect their style and discover the true meaning of strength. They encounter legendary characters such as Chun-Li, Guile and M. Bison in a narrative focused on mystery, action and combat.
Selecta Visión highlighted the characters in its social media post on August 7. The company noted they face the threat of M. Bison and Shadowlaw.
Animated movie
The 1994 Street Fighter II animated movie is available on AnimeBox. The film follows a terrorist organization that causes a global crisis after assassinating several political leaders.
Group leader M. Bison seeks to capture top martial arts experts to turn them into an army of invincible soldiers. Ryu and Ken are among the few fighters who can stop the threat.

Selecta Visión also revealed when Assassination Classroom: El tiempo que compartimos will reach theaters. In addition, the company announced that Berserk will arrive soon on AnimeBox.
