Spatium Coworking held a new edition of its conference series EfiZienZia Break, bringing together executives and staff from multinational companies with a presence in the Dominican Republic at its headquarters in the Torre Corporativa de Acrópolis in Santo Domingo.
The event ran in a breakfast format between 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. and drew full attendance, with organizers reporting a strong reception among participants.
The session featured international speaker José Bretón, who has more than 30 years of experience in the business world and is the author of the book "Cultura de Conversaciones" ("Culture of Conversations"). Bretón addressed the topic "Conversaciones y Equipos de Alto Desempeño" ("Conversations and High-Performance Teams").
What the speaker told attendees
During his presentation, Bretón stressed the importance of quantifying the number of conversations an executive holds over the course of a year and of systematizing them. He said this was an effective way to align a company's objectives with the daily effort of its employees.
Executives and staff who attended came away with practical tools aimed at preventing conflict through conversation, strengthening coordination, trust and execution within their teams.
