Ukrainian television presenter Solomiya Vitvitska has shared archival pregnancy photographs on Instagram and addressed online speculation about her motherhood at the age of 46.
The presenter, who recently gave birth to her first child, posted images showing her baby bump to mark one month since the birth of her son, Ustym. She stated that despite negative comments online regarding her pregnancy at 46, she pays no attention to rumours that she used a surrogate mother.

Writing alongside the photographs, Vitvitska noted that her son Ustym had turned one month old that day and said she finally had the beautiful pregnancy portraits she wanted. She pointed out the contradictory nature of public reactions on social media.
According to the presenter, when a pregnant woman shows her belly publicly, critics ask why she is doing so and call it unattractive. Conversely, when she does not show her belly, detractors claim that a surrogate mother is carrying the baby and that the bump is fake. Vitvitska concluded that it is impossible to please everyone, which led her to simply save that beauty for herself.
Maternity photo shoot before the birth of Ustym
Vitvitska explained that the maternity photo shoot took place shortly before she gave birth, making the images a meaningful reminder of that special period. She added that the photographs hold particular significance for her now that their little boy is nearly a month old.
Reflecting on the transition into motherhood, she shared that her son was still living inside her when the photographs were taken, whereas today she can hold him, kiss him and marvel at how quickly their life has changed.

Vitvitska is a prominent Ukrainian journalist and television host best known to viewers for anchoring the TSN news broadcasts on the 1+1 network. Her latest post follows earlier remarks in which the 46-year-old presenter spoke about the challenges of motherhood after welcoming her first child.
