Professor Ève Maubec, a dermatologist and president of the cutaneous oncology group at the French Society of Dermatology, discussed the findings during an interview on French news channel LCI. Maubec noted that the breakthrough is likely relevant for many other forms of cancer beyond skin cancer. She explained that researchers are actively studying the same approach for pancreatic cancer, lung cancer, and several other malignant conditions.
