Political analyst Sarah Santaolalla has signed with new Spanish television channel La Séptima to host her own program ahead of its planned launch.
The 27-year-old communicator will take on a starring role as host rather than joining as a contributor within the broad team being assembled by the network. La Séptima is scheduled to begin its digital terrestrial television (TDT) broadcasts on November 5, entering Spain's free-to-air television market with a fresh roster of programming.
News of her appointment was first reported by Spanish television news outlet verTele. The agreement brings an end to several weeks of speculation surrounding her potential arrival at the channel, which Santaolalla herself had helped fuel during a recent media interview when discussing her professional future.
