Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko announced that the upper floors of a nine-storey apartment building collapsed and caught fire in the Solomiansky district following the strike.
Klitschko added that residents were trapped inside an apartment building at a separate address within the city during the night bombardment.
The Ukrainian Review reported that an air strike damaged residential infrastructure in the Solomiansky district, leaving civilians trapped inside the building.
Solomiansky is an urban residential district in western Kyiv that houses major transport nodes, educational centers, and apartment complexes.
Military Administration Statement and Casualties
The Kyiv City Military Administration reported on Telegram at 01:19 that two women died as a result of the enemy attack on the capital.
In a subsequent update published at 01:40, the military administration stated that the official count of injured victims had increased to 12 people.
