Russian air defense forces intercepted and destroyed 153 Ukrainian fixed-wing drones overnight across 17 regions, according to Russian military command posts on Telegram and MAX.
Local authorities reported that the border region of Belgorod was among the areas most heavily impacted, despite a relatively quiet night overall. Acting governor Alexandr Shuváyev stated on Telegram that 13 people were injured following drone impacts in the regional capital, including two minors. A four-year-old child was taken by ambulance to the regional pediatric hospital with shrapnel injuries to the chest.
Shuváyev added that drone explosions in the city sparked fires in two automobiles, four buildings, a private home, and several administrative and social facilities.
Damage in Novorossíisk and Bashkiria
In the Black Sea port city of Novorossíisk, Mayor Andréi Krávchenko stated that debris from downed drones hit two local businesses and a residence, resulting in no casualties.
Authorities in the Russian region of Bashkiria reported that Ukrainian drones also attempted to strike local enterprises in the regional capital of Ufa. One intercepted drone struck a building under construction, causing a fire, with no injuries reported.
