At least three people died and another was injured in a mass shooting in Prospect Hill, North Carolina, according to local authorities on Wednesday.

Local officials indicated that one of the deceased is the suspected shooter and stated that the event was an isolated incident. Caswell County Sheriff Tony Durden said during a press conference that all of the individuals involved are adults and members of the same family.

The incident follows another mass shooting last Saturday at a burger restaurant in Twin Falls, Idaho, where three people were killed and seven others were injured.
