Amazon Prime Video will broadcast 67 live National Basketball Association games in Europe during the 2026-27 season, beginning with an opening night double-header on October 24.
The deal marks the second year of Amazon streaming live NBA games on its platform. The broadcast package combines regular season games, the Emirates NBA Cup, the Play-In tournament, and the Playoffs, culminating in the Eastern Conference Finals in May 2027.
Spanish viewers can watch the opening double-header during the early morning of October 24. Broadcasts begin at 1:00 AM with the New York Knicks taking on the Boston Celtics, followed at 3:30 AM by the Houston Rockets facing the San Antonio Spurs in Austin, Texas.
Although Prime Video will stream 67 games across Europe throughout the campaign, around 20 regular season matchups remain to be scheduled. The remaining fixtures will be announced at a later date.
Emirates NBA Cup and tournament schedule
Prime Video will maintain a prominent presence during the Emirates NBA Cup, an in-season tournament designed to add competitive stakes to early-season games. Group stage matches will air across five consecutive weeks starting on October 31.
Tournament coverage continues into December with the knockout rounds. The quarterfinals are set for December 5 and 6, followed by the semifinals on December 9.
The Emirates NBA Cup final will take place on December 12 at Hinkle Fieldhouse, the historic arena located on the campus of Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana. Opened in 1928, the venue is widely regarded as one of American college basketball's classic cathedrals.
European fixtures and marquee player matchups
In January 2027, Prime Video will exclusively stream the two NBA games held in Europe. On January 14, French star Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs face the New Orleans Pelicans in Paris. On January 17, Manchester will host the second European fixture of the season.
January also features headline return games for prominent players facing their former franchises. Jaylen Brown returns to Boston as a member of the Philadelphia 76ers on January 22. On January 29, Giannis Antetokounmpo plays his first game in Milwaukee against the Bucks since joining the Miami Heat.
Several high-profile franchises feature heavily in the regular season broadcast selection. The New York Knicks, Philadelphia 76ers, San Antonio Spurs, and Los Angeles Lakers will each appear 10 times on Prime Video, while the Oklahoma City Thunder will feature in eight games.
Play-In tournament and postseason coverage
Broadcasting continues beyond the regular season into the postseason period. In April, Prime Video will exclusively stream all six games of the NBA Play-In Tournament, which determines the final playoff seeds in each conference.
Following the Play-In games, the service will broadcast selected matchups from the first and second rounds of the NBA Playoffs. The postseason push reaches its peak in May, when Prime Video exclusively broadcasts the Eastern Conference Finals.
For subscribers in Spain, all games will be available with both English and Spanish language commentary options. Viewers will also be able to access the NBA League Pass streaming service directly through the Prime Video application.
