Pete Davidson and his ex-girlfriend Elsie Hewitt have reunited to celebrate their daughter Scottie's first Halloween ahead of the child's upcoming first birthday.

The 32-year-old comedian and the 30-year-old model welcomed their first child together on December 12, 2025. Ahead of the milestone, the former couple showed off their co-parenting dynamic by dressing up in a coordinated Sopranos-themed family costume.

Hewitt shared pictures on Instagram showing the pair doting on their ten-month-old daughter, who sat inside a decorated wagon dressed as mafia boss Tony Soprano. Hewitt captioned the post, "Smells like Halloween."

The parents, who keep Scottie's face private from the public, dressed the infant in a bathrobe and a gold watch. Scottie held a toy cigar in one photograph and sat under a blue blanket covered with stuffed ducks to recreate a swimming pool.

Her parents also decorated the wagon with a neon Bada Bing! sign, referencing the strip club owned by Tony Soprano in the acclaimed crime series. Hewitt got into character as Christopher Moltisanti, sporting a red tracksuit, a neck brace and sunglasses. Davidson transformed into Paulie Gualtieri by coloring the sides of his hair grey, donning a black leather jacket and wearing sunglasses.

The Sopranos tribute

The family costumes paid tribute to The Sopranos, the acclaimed HBO television drama created by David Chase that originally aired from 1999 to 2007. The series starred the late James Gandolfini as Tony Soprano, a New Jersey mob boss struggling to balance family life with leading a criminal organization.

The swimming pool ducks in Scottie's wagon referenced the opening episode of the series, where a flock of mallards landing in Tony Soprano's backyard pool served as a central plot point and triggered his panic attacks. Characters Christopher Moltisanti, played by Michael Imperioli, and Paulie "Walnuts" Gualtieri, played by Tony Sirico, were two of Soprano's most recognizable mob associates throughout the show's six seasons.

Co-parenting after split

The Halloween reunion comes six months after Hewitt opened up publicly about the emotional and practical demands of being a single mother. In May, Hewitt claimed on social media that she was caring for Scottie on her own following reports that she and Davidson had ended their whirlwind romance.

"I have a baby to take care of, and I also have to work and make money, and I'm doing it on my own, which is hard," Hewitt said in a video shared to TikTok at the time.

The Sun reported that the pair ended their relationship in part because of Davidson's heavy work commitments and travel schedule. A source told the publication that Davidson had been traveling frequently for work while Hewitt sought additional support at home after their daughter was born, noting that the situation was difficult for him because he needed to work to provide income.

Tribute to Scott Davidson

The former couple named their daughter Scottie in honor of Davidson's late father, Scott Davidson. The senior Davidson worked as a New York City firefighter with Ladder 118 in Brooklyn and died in the line of duty during the September 11 terrorist attacks in 2001, when his son was seven years old.

Davidson rose to national fame after joining the cast of NBC's late-night sketch comedy show Saturday Night Live in 2014 at the age of 20, becoming one of the youngest cast members in the history of the broadcast. During his eight seasons on the program, which concluded in 2022, Davidson frequently discussed his father's death, mental health and personal grief in his stand-up routines and comedy sketches.

Sobriety and fatherhood

In September 2025, several months before Scottie was born, Davidson reflected on his journey toward sobriety during an appearance on the This Past Weekend podcast hosted by comedian Theo Von. The entertainer discussed how maintaining his sobriety became an essential milestone before welcoming his first child.

"Thank God that I'm sober," Davidson told Von during the episode. "I wish I had more time of sobriety 'cause it's only been like a year and change, but I'm very grateful that it happened now and with Elsie."

Reflecting on earlier relationships, Davidson acknowledged that he had previously felt driven to start a family before he was healthy enough to handle parenthood. "In other relationships or when I was, you know, I was a drug addict and very mentally deranged, but that was my goal: 'I need to have a kid. I need to get married.' Because that's how I grew up," he explained.

The comedian said he recognized in retrospect that he was not ready to raise children while in the thick of substance abuse. "I stopped dating and I was, like, 'I need to f***ing get better and I need to be in a place where I could even have a healthy relationship,'" he said. "I wasn't looking for a relationship or looking to have a baby. It all just kind of happened at once, and it's been awesome."

Prior to his relationship with Hewitt, Davidson was involved in several high-profile celebrity romances, having previously dated reality star Kim Kardashian, singer Ariana Grande and actress Kate Beckinsale.
