Paris Jackson celebrated the release of her second studio album, Happiest Day of My Life, with a party this past weekend at the Velocity Black Residence in Los Angeles, surrounded by family and famous friends.
The 28-year-old model and actress was joined by her brother, Prince Jackson, and her aunt, LaToya Jackson, along with Paris Hilton, Nicky Hilton, Willow Smith, Evan Ross, Michael Braun and English television personality Vas J Morgan.
For the occasion, Jackson wore a bohemian-inspired cream lace slip dress, pairing it with soft khaki suede boots and letting her wavy blonde hair fall loose.
Her aunt LaToya Jackson opted for a shimmering gold metallic pantsuit, teaming a matching blazer and trousers with a pair of sunglasses.
Family Members Join the Celebration
Prince Jackson kept things casual in a gray polo shirt, blue jeans and sneakers as he posed with his sister at the launch.
Paris Hilton turned up in a long-sleeved snakeskin print top with a brown mini-skirt and knee-high black boots, wearing her trademark blonde locks down and parted and finishing the look with black sunglasses.
Her sister, Nicky Hilton, wore a marigold plaid dress with a cowl neckline and black lace trim, paired with black strappy sandals.
Willow Smith was dressed in a black top with baggy jeans and black shoes. She was seen embracing Jackson during the evening and chatting with Evan Ross.
Jackson also posed for a photo with Vas J Morgan, who wore an olive suede button-up shirt with dark gray wide-leg pants.
Morgan later posted about the night on Instagram, describing it as "the happiest day of my life" and encouraging fans to stream the new record. "If you haven't had a listen to this masterpiece of an album yet," he wrote. "Now is the time!"
Second Album Follows 2020 Debut
Happiest Day of My Life is the follow-up to Jackson's 2020 debut album, Wilted. She is the daughter of the late Michael Jackson, the pop icon who died in 2009.
Jackson on the Inspiration Behind the Record
At the party, Jackson spoke with KROQ's Miles The DJ about what shaped the new album, describing it as driven by an "inner angsty teen that never really went away."
"I made this record for her, and I wanted to make something that she thought would be cool," Jackson said.
She added that she is not necessarily committed to the sound long-term. "I don't know that it's a sound that I'll be married to, because I am a folk artist at heart; I'm always going to do the singer-songwriter thing," she said.
Jackson said she wanted to experiment with different styles of production on the album, pushing for a sound that was "more abrasive" and "doesn't sound pretty."

The Hilton sisters also posed together with Morgan and Braun during the party.
Collaborating With Producer Linda Perry
Jackson spoke about working with producer Linda Perry on the record, saying "a good amount.. was just straight up co-writing" between the two of them.
She credited Perry with "a gift for melody" and described how their songwriting process typically worked. "A lot of it would be like she'd either come up with a tagline and most of the melodies, and then I would write all the lyrics, cause that's my favorite part of what I do is words," Jackson said.
Jackson said Perry encouraged her to be more specific in her lyrics, noting that many of the songwriters who influence her "can be very vague."
"And that's something that I still often do, but it's something that she was kind of trying to encourage me to stray away from it, and be more specific about what my experience is," Jackson said.
