A24 has released a new Ukrainian trailer for the upcoming action thriller Onslaught. The science fiction project is directed by Adam Wingard, the filmmaker best known for You're Next, The Guest, Godzilla vs. Kong and Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire.
The plot follows a former army sniper turned single mother who lives with her daughter in a desert trailer park. Her peaceful life is abruptly disrupted when a squad of genetically modified super soldiers breaks out of a secret military facility.
To save her family, the protagonist is forced to rely on her combat skills to fight the nearly invulnerable enemy squad. The narrative centres on a scientific experiment that spirals out of control, leaving the woman as the final line of defence between humanity and the perfect weapon it created.
Adria Arjona takes on the lead role. The actress is known for her television work in Andor, Narcos and True Detective, alongside appearances in the superhero feature Morbius, the psychological thriller Blink Twice and the dark comedy Hit Man.
Supporting cast and creative team
The film features a supporting cast that includes Dan Stevens, who previously appeared in Beauty and the Beast, I'm Your Man, Abigail, The Ritual, Downton Abbey and Legion. Stevens also reunites with Wingard after starring in The Guest and Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire.
Also starring are Michael Biehn, known for his roles in The Terminator, Aliens and The Abyss, and Drew Starkey, who appeared in Outer Banks, Queer, Hellraiser and The Devil All the Time. Rebecca Hall, whose credits include The Prestige, Vicky Cristina Barcelona, Iron Man 3 and Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, completes the main ensemble.
Wingard wrote the screenplay with Simon Barrett. The writers are longtime creative partners who previously collaborated on the horror film You're Next as well as The Guest.
The studio previously released the first trailer for Onslaught in June 2026.
Film distributor Green Light Films announced that the picture will be released in Ukrainian cinemas on September 3, 2026.
