Former I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! star Nella Rose has shown off her weight loss transformation in a plunging corset top on social media.
The 29 year old influencer shared glamour photographs with her 1.6 million followers on Instagram, prompting responses from friends and fans online.
Admirers praised her look in the comment section of the post. One fan asked her to share details of her weight loss, writing: "Please help the big girls in the chat out! How did we lose the weight!? Keto, walking, what?" Another follower commented: "Please Nella PLEASE DROP THE WORKOUT ROUTINE MOTHER."
Rose previously revealed that her body changed significantly after her father died in 2020, explaining that she went from a size 12 to a size 20 during that period.
While competing on the ITV reality television series I'm A Celebrity in 2023, Rose spoke candidly about her weight to fellow campmate and food critic Grace Dent. She told Dent: "Lack of self discipline got me from a size 12 to a size 20."
Rose recalled how grief affected her daily routine during the coronavirus pandemic. "Literally, my dad passed and I locked myself in the house for two months and just drank every single day and ate every single day," she said. "I gained it all and it was the pandemic. So it wasn't like I was leaving or working. It was like, boom."
Early Life and Career
Before appearing on television, Rose established her online presence on YouTube. She launched her channel in 2015, focusing on hair tutorials and fashion tips for viewers.
Born Nella Rose Hollela, the content creator is of Congolese descent and moved from Belgium to the United Kingdom at the age of seven alongside her mother and older brother. Growing up in north west London, she wanted to lose her thick French accent. She watched videos of television presenters Ant and Dec to help adopt a British accent.
Personal Hardships
Tragedy struck the family in 2017 when her mother died unexpectedly. Rose described the loss as "the worst thing that has ever happened to me in my life" after her mother died in her arms.
Following her mother's death, the local council reclaimed the family home. Rose and her brother received a letter giving them 30 days to leave the property, leaving the teenager facing homelessness while in her second year at the University of Leicester.
Rose explained how she relied on her university accommodation or stayed with friends while continuing her studies. "I was planning on using my student loan and my little YouTube money to pay the rent and bills," she said. "My uni room was my house or I was going on brand trips abroad in the holidays because I was running away from the fact I had nothing to call my own, nothing solid, I was escaping my problems."
She reflected on how her life appeared online during that period compared to her actual situation. "You all thought I was living my best life, but in reality, I was homeless, living out of a suitcase and hopping from bed to bed," Rose shared with her followers.
At age 20, Rose secured her own rented flat in an affluent area of London, later admitting that furnishing the property cost thousands of pounds.
