Actress Naomi Watts and her daughter Kai Schreiber have teamed up as the new faces of luxury fashion brand Simkhai for its fall 2026 advertising campaign.
The 57-year-old screen star and her 17-year-old daughter feature in a series of campaign photographs released by the luxury fashion house on Tuesday.

In one of the promotional shots, photographed by Mikael Jansson and styled by Camilla Nickerson, Watts posed in front of a stark white backdrop wearing a textured black dress accented with a jewel-covered collar and black sunglasses. Schreiber posed alongside her wearing a sleek brown and black calf hair mini dress paired with a matching handbag.
The mother and daughter duo also both modeled structured white dresses for the new collection. Watts appeared in a strapless feathered frock, while Schreiber wore a fringed dress with thin shoulder straps. A separate black and white portrait showed Watts wearing an oversized button-up shirt paired with wide-leg denim trousers. Watts subsequently reshared Simkhai's campaign posts on her personal Instagram account.
The fall 2026 advertisement also features models Awar Odhiang, Sage Elsesser, Malcolm McRae, and Betsey Gaghan alongside Watts and Schreiber.
Working with designer Jonathan Simkhai
Simkhai is a New York-based luxury fashion label founded by designer Jonathan Simkhai in 2010, known for its refined tailoring, delicate lace work, and modern womenswear designs. Speaking to Elle magazine about the collaboration, Watts revealed that her existing relationship with the designer made the decision to participate straightforward.
"I had worked with Jonathan previously and have a wonderful relationship with him, and when he asked us to both do this campaign, it just felt right," Watts told Elle. "We respect the brand, we love the clothes, we love him, and it ended up being an all-around incredible experience for both of us."

Watts shares Kai and 19-year-old son Sasha with her ex-partner Liev Schreiber, the American actor and director known for his title role in the drama series Ray Donovan.
In her interview with Elle, Watts said she relies heavily on her teenage daughter's eye for fashion when preparing for public appearances. "If I have an event to go to, I always get her to weigh in on my look," Watts explained. "I think she has a natural understanding of fashion and what looks good on my body."
Watts added that Schreiber possesses a remarkable fashion instinct, describing her daughter's personal style as "Kate Moss boho chic." Kate Moss is an iconic British supermodel who emerged in the 1990s and became celebrated worldwide for her bohemian aesthetic.

Rising runway career
The Simkhai campaign comes after a series of high-profile modeling bookings for Schreiber. In July, she achieved a major career milestone when she walked the runway for Dutch couture designer Iris van Herpen during Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week. Schreiber made her professional runway debut earlier in March 2025, walking for Italian luxury house Valentino during Paris Fashion Week.

Schreiber previously discussed her ambitions to build a career in modeling during an interview with Interview magazine last year. The rising model, who is transgender, explained to the publication that her interest in fashion was closely connected to her journey with gender identity.
"Struggling with gender identity from a young age most likely had something to do with it," Schreiber told Interview. "I always wanted to grow up and be a beautiful, glamorous, influential woman, like Marilyn." Marilyn Monroe was a legendary 20th-century Hollywood screen icon renowned for classic glamour.
"I want to be a supermodel. Period. I've been practicing my walks in the kitchen for years. My mom can show you all the videos I forced her to film," Schreiber added.
