Italian fashion brand Moschino has begun selling a luxury handbag shaped like a roll of toilet paper at Moscow's Central Universal Department Store, TSUM. The novelty accessory was listed for sale on the retailer's official website.

Priced at 138,500 rubles, the piece forms part of the Italian fashion house's Item Bags collection. The accessory is manufactured from an embossed polymer blended with natural leather, decorated with a blue print, and completed with a long shoulder strap made of silver beads.
Operating since the nineteenth century, the six-story store situated near the Bolshoi Theatre is Russia's best-known luxury shopping venue. TSUM carries flagship collections from prominent European fashion houses, fine jewelry makers, and international cosmetic brands.
Moschino novelty fashion designs
Moschino, founded in Milan in 1983 by designer Franco Moschino, is known across the fashion world for its playful and satirical aesthetic. The Italian label has long specialized in transforming mundane household objects, consumer goods, and pop culture references into high-priced luxury accessories and runway items.
The Item Bags line reflects that history of surrealism, creating trompe-l'œil designs that mimic everyday consumer products. The fashion house has previously produced novelty bags styled after cleaning spray bottles, fast-food cartons, and paper bags, establishing tongue-in-cheek luxury accessories as a hallmark of the brand.
Luxury retail listings at TSUM
The toilet paper handbag is not the first ultra-luxury listing at the Moscow department store to attract attention for its price tag. TSUM previously put a fur coat on sale for 44 million rubles, an item designed by the Russian label Victoria Kusenkova.
Victoria Kusenkova is a Russian designer brand known for crafting premium natural fur apparel, specializing in sable, mink, and couture outerwear for the domestic luxury market. High-end fur pieces from luxury ateliers regularly sit alongside European designer apparel in Moscow's premier department stores.
The Moschino handbag remains available for purchase on the TSUM website, where the retailer lists the novelty piece in its designer accessories department.
