Love Island winner Molly Smith returned to reality with a bump when she received a parking ticket on her luxury Mercedes-Benz after visiting a gym in Manchester following her ten-day wedding celebrations in Majorca.
The 32-year-old reality television star discovered the penalty notice attached to her £114,000 G-Class SUV as she finished her workout, just days after concluding her lavish Spanish nuptials with new husband Tom Clare.
Smith and Clare, 26, tied the knot in Majorca earlier this month, two years after winning the 2024 All-Stars edition of Love Island, the popular British reality dating show broadcast on ITV2.
The gym fanatic appeared less than impressed by the development as she walked back to her high-end vehicle following her workout session in Manchester.
She wore green cycling shorts with a matching zip-up top draped over her arm, pairing the athletic look with a bright yellow sports bra.
Smith accessorised her workout attire with a chic Louis Vuitton gym bag and bright pink Nike trainers as she departed the fitness center.
The parking fine was placed on her windscreen despite the parking meter located directly next to her vehicle appearing to be out of service.
Police Called to Spanish Harbour Celebration
The parking incident comes shortly after the couple wrapped up a boozy ten-day wedding trip in Spain that saw family, friends, and fellow reality stars descend on the Mediterranean island.
Following their formal wedding vows on Saturday, August 22, the couple hosted a party at the Suculenta Port de Sóller restaurant, located in northern Majorca.
Local yacht crew members at the harbour reportedly became irritated by the noise levels during the celebration and contacted Spain's Guardia Civil police force to intervene.
The Guardia Civil is one of Spain's national law enforcement agencies, responsible for policing coastal waters, ports, and public safety across the Balearic Islands.
Despite the unexpected arrival of police officers, Smith appeared unfazed as she served shots to guests, cosied up to her husband, and jumped into the sea.
Best man Casey O'Gorman took a central role in the frolics, stripping down to tiny Speedos and leering at a police officer as guests filmed the interaction.
Fellow party guest Mitch Taylor documented the scene on social media, professing his love for O'Gorman as attendees threw themselves into the harbour and drank.
Clips shared online showed the wedding party dancing wildly to a live saxophonist during the main reception before O'Gorman seized the microphone.
Recovery Party at Puerto Portals Marina
The day after the harbour party, the group gathered for a lower-key gathering at Wellies Restaurant in Puerto Portals, a luxury marina area in southwestern Majorca known for superyachts and fine dining.
The newlyweds were joined at the upscale venue by former Love Island co-stars Sophie Piper, Josh Richie, and best man Casey O'Gorman.
Sources told The Sun that guests were downing beer while O'Gorman kept attendees in the party mood throughout the afternoon.
"At one point Casey decided to jump into the port next to the restaurant which is forbidden," a source told the outlet. "The police arrived to give him a telling off and told him where he was allowed to swim."
Pre-Wedding Stress and Table Dancing at The Ivy
Prior to departing for Spain, Smith and Clare completed their legal marriage ceremony in the United Kingdom, which concluded with a celebratory dinner at The Ivy restaurant.
The Ivy is a famous British luxury restaurant chain known for hosting celebrity celebrations across London and major UK cities.
The couple revealed that their legal wedding celebration ended with guests dancing on tables, while best man O'Gorman ended up in a heap on the floor.
Speaking to the Daily Mail before their departure, Smith and Clare admitted they experienced several stressful moments while dealing with last-minute preparations for the big day.
Smith explained that the final weeks became overwhelming due to incoming invoices and constant messages from attending guests asking questions.
"It's got to the stressful part, just because we're weeks out and only because it's invoices being sent and all the last bits that you start to panic about and then you start getting people asking you questions, like texting you," Smith said. "So then it starts to get a little bit stressful in that sense. So I have had a little wobble."
Clare added that both wanted the event to run smoothly, stating: "We just want it all to be perfect, but like you said, there's just like little bits, people asking silly questions. It's not too bad, but just because we want it to go so well and we've put time and effort into it. I think we're just about there. You've had a few little meltdowns."
Smith revealed that her husband handles pressure by cleaning their home, adding: "Tom's so chilled. Normally, you're super, super-chilled, but Tom stress cleans, so I know when you're stressed because you'll go upstairs and start hoovering or something like that!"
