WHAT IS SHORT HAIR SYNDROME?

Uncombable hair syndrome is a rare inherited condition that causes hair follicles to protrude from the root and not straighten.

This type of hair is usually silver blonde or straw colored.

Hair usually appears between three and twelve months of age.

In rare cases, the syndrome has occurred in addition to bone and ocular abnormalities.

The syndrome usually resolves or resolves in early adolescence.

It can be more easily managed by applying conditioner and using soft brushes.
