Zendaya has triumphed again at the Emmys. The actress who became the youngest woman to win the Emmy for Best Drama Actress in 2020 repeated the award with her role as Rue Bennett in Euphoria. With the latter, she managed to break more records, being the first black actress to win two Emmys in the category and the youngest woman in history to win two Academy Awards for Television in the same category.
The bets already predicted it, but in the Best Drama Actress category, there was a high level. She competed with such actresses as: Jodie Comer (“Killing Eve”), Laura Linney (“Ozark”), Melanie Lynskey (Yellowjackets), Sandra Oh (“Killing Eve”) and Reese Witherspoon (“The Morning Show”).
The American has become one of the most successful actresses in the world. Her impeccable portrayal of Rue in Euphoria is one of the reasons this series competes in numbers with others, such as the titanic series Game of Thrones. It’s one of HBO’s treasures. Her story tells of the life of a troubled and misunderstood teenager who became addicted to drugs after the death of her father. The plot revolves around the complicated lives of a group of California teenagers and features impeccable costumes and makeup, a powerful soundtrack, a highly successful aesthetic and a form sidereal.
To applause, Zendaya went upstairs to pick up her Emmy at the Microsoft Theater of Los Angeles, where he showed his gratitude and moved with his words. “My greatest wish for ‘Euphoria’ is that it can help people heal”, she also dedicated a space of the speech to the people who shared their experiences with her, “I am very grateful for your stories and I carry them with me , and I bear with her.”

We recently learned that Barbie Ferreira (Cat in the series) would not be in the next season. The actress has posted a nice text on her Instagram profile to say goodbye to this stage, which she rejects without reason. Some media outlets have pointed to the small appearance he had last season and an alleged argument during filming with Sam Levinson (series creator).
What we will see in the new season is a paradigm shift, the lead actress revealed that the series will leave the institution in the third season and enter new environments.
