A baker has shared her latest creation after joining the Bunnings-themed birthday party trend that has taken the country by storm.
Tigga Maccormack of Melbourne created a cake with a Bunnings truck hub to celebrate the Australian hardware store’s launch of new batch packs.
The $29 Bunnings Kids Party Pack is available in store and comes with invitations, envelopes, mugs, plates, hats, streamers, and a birthday badge.

Melbourne-based Tigga Maccormack baked a cake complete with the centerpiece of a Bunnings truck to celebrate the Australian hardware store’s release of new $29 party packs.
To make the themed cake, Tigga first stacked the red and green cakes with white icing between each tier.
Once stacked, she applied a crumb to the outside of the cake to create a semi-bare surface.
She then dripped drops of butter on the top and bottom of the cake to create a “waterfall” effect.


He replaced the red and green cupcakes with buttercream and created a semi-bare surface, then piping the cream to the edge and adding rubber balls to the sides.
Here’s how Tigga made the Bunnings cake:
- Top the red and green cakes alternately with the white icing between each layer.
- Brush a coat of crumbs on the outside of the cake for a semi-naked look.
- Pour a dash of buttercream over and under one side of the cake to create a “waterfall” effect.
- Place a Lego Bunnings truck on top as the centerpiece, then place the rubber balls on the truck tray and scale through the swirls of icing.
- Place assorted candies, sprinkles, and other colorful chocolates on top of the frosting.
- Add a Bunnings Warehouse shop badge and miniature bunting to top it all off.
Tigga placed a Bunnings Lego truck on top of it as the centerpiece, then placed the rubber balls in the truck’s basket and blasted them through swirls of icing.
She also placed a variety of candies, marshmallows, and other colorful chocolates on top of the cream, then added a store badge and miniature bunting to complete it all.
She placed her baker-themed cake in the center of the party table and on top of the reversible Bunnings box surrounded by the pieces from the party wrap.

Tigga quickly posted her cake on TikTok, where it received over 27,000 likes and hundreds of comments in just 24 hours.
“So, as an adult I can get it for my birthday this month or is it just sad,” one fan of the cake wrote.
‘I’ll try to make this cake! It’s too good not to try, ”wrote another.
