A single disabled mother praised her quick thinking in an emergency after her six-year-old daughter called the emergency room after she was found unconscious on the floor.
Mama dejaa was getting ready to take her six-year-old daughter, Jordan, to school on March 14, but she was not feeling well and was experiencing side effects from a medication she had taken the night before.
After starting the car to warm her up, Dejaa got back in and planned to lie down for a few minutes before leaving – but she couldn’t get to her bedroom, but passed out before reaching the stairs.
Fortunately, Jordan heard her fall and hit her head and acted immediately, calling the emergency services and successfully directing them home to help her mother – all recorded by the home’s security cameras.
Dejaa was getting ready to take her six-year-old daughter, Jordan, to school on March 14, but she fell ill and passed out.

Security footage from inside shows his leg lying unconscious on the floor.
“My 6-year-old son had to call emergency services when he was unconscious,” Dejaa wrote in a viral video that has been viewed 5.4 million times on TikTok.
The first images shown were taken from inside the house by a camera that appears to have been mounted on the ceiling.
Dejaa zooms in to reveal part of her leg lying on the ground where she fainted.
The footage then goes to Ring’s outside doorbell camera, which records Jordan running out with the phone in hand and goes to the mailbox where he can verify addresses for an emergency room operator.
Jordan had already called his grandmother, and a few minutes later he came and ran home.
A fire truck also arrived, and soon after, paramedics came in on a stretcher.

His six-year-old daughter, Jordan, called Dejaa’s mother and then emergency medical services, and was seen on camera running to the mailbox to verify their address.

The cameras also captured the moment when Dejaa’s mother, who lived nearby, showed up around the same time as the fire truck.

They were soon caught when paramedics entered the house to help Dejaa, a disabled veteran.
Dejaa, a disabled veteran, single mother, and full-time student, said she was treated by the VA for injuries sustained during her military service.
The night before she passed out, she had taken a drug that dehydrated her body and lowered her blood pressure, so she woke up terribly that morning.
After starting the car, he tried to go upstairs to rest.
“I was trying to get over some dizziness before I got behind the wheel of a car to take my daughter to school,” she said.
As you can see in the video, I failed and eventually passed out,” he added.
Dejaa hit her head “really hard” as she fell, and Jordan rushed to help while her four-year-old daughter was still asleep.

Dejaa is pictured with her two children, ages four and six. She said she hit her head hard but was “blessed” that Jordan knew what to do.

“In this situation, I was really lucky not only to have my daughter at home, but also to thankfully not get behind the wheel of a car,” she said.
“He took action,” Dejaa said. “He stuck to the contingency plan we developed earlier. He went ahead and contacted my mother first and then contacted EMS.
“I was really lucky in this situation, not only was my daughter at home, but thankfully I didn’t get behind the wheel of the car. My mom also lives nearby so I always ask her to contact my mom first,” she added.
Commentators shared how impressed they were with Jordan’s performance under pressure, and Dejaa shared how she prepared her two daughters to know what to do in an emergency.
He said he started preparing them when they were old enough to play on his phone, updating his contacts with photos so that the girls could see who’s calling.
Dejaa also taught them to practice situational awareness and let them know important emergency information such as their name, surname and where they live.
He also said that he would sometimes stop in the car next to them and let his daughters show him the way home.
