A “placenta specialist” makes a variety of products using the temporary fetal organ, from smoothies and pills to original artwork celebrating childbirth.
A confessed “placenta specialist” turns the female placenta into a smoothie.
Virginia Maddock, a nutritionist from Sydney, bombards the organ with almond milk, frozen fruit, matcha powder, and ground flax seeds to make the drink.
She said 7life : “Some mothers register a lot more energy [from consuming the placenta]almost as if they had drunk an espresso.
“It can also help improve your mood, ward off the baby blues and balance your hormones.”
The mother of two also makes other products that use the placenta and has worked with over 400 women.
He used it to make vodka infusions and added it to capsules that can be consumed by mothers.

While it may seem an outlandish concept, celebrities like Kim Kardashian have endorsed placental pills in the past.
Virginia said, “I definitely saw a big boost in business after that.”
It doesn’t even use the placenta for consumption.
The business woman celebrates the fetal organ by making works of art from it.
By pressing the placenta against a canvas, it can give them an imprint to keep or hang at home.
While eating the placenta is more common today, some medical experts have warned against it.

Dr Sarah Tedjasukmana told 7News: “Women have ingested the placenta in various ways for centuries.
Claimed benefits include physical benefits, such as restoring iron levels, and psychological benefits, such as a reduced risk of postpartum depression.
“Unfortunately there is no scientific evidence of benefit. Conversely, there is evidence of risk.
“The encapsulation process is not regulated and mothers are at risk of bacterial or viral infection, as well as problems such as excessive concentration of hormones in the placental tissue.
“These can also cause problems for the baby if he is breastfed. My advice is not to take risks.
