Brazilian model and dancer Maya Dhurval revealed how a job helped her “love each other again” after her ex cheated on her.
The 33-year-old, now living in London, broke up with her ex and discovered many cheating on him with her best friend.
In addition to this, Maya said she suffered two miscarriages during their relationship, the first at 18 weeks and the second at 21 weeks.
After all of this, he said he ended up developing depression.
However, she turned to self-love to turn things around, saying her £ 5,000 silicone breast implants were one of the main reasons she loved herself again.
“Because of the betrayal, I thought the flaw was in me, I felt ugly and I didn’t feel loved,” she told CO Press.
“So when I decided to buy some silicone and do something for myself.
“I discovered self-love, which changed my life, my dance work and my self-esteem.
“I rediscovered myself and changed things”.
Maya criticized people who judge others for having breast implants, adding, “They talk about natural beauty these days and they call us plasticized, that it’s no longer nice to have silicone.
“I know that explants are much more common than implants, but many people still need silicone to accept themselves and save who they are.”
Maya says she now wants to inspire other women to save their self-esteem.
“My boobs are sexy,” she said.
“That choice was an act of love and now I feel so much more comfortable showing off my cleavage, wearing lingerie, taking a sexy photo and wearing a lower-cut dress thanks to them.
“Today I feel like I’m back and I want to inspire more women with my story.”
Maya already made headlines earlier this year for taking part in Brazil’s infamous Miss BumBum pageant, the goal of which is to find the best swag in the country.
