A woman was horrified when she awoke from a three-month coma to find that her boyfriend had left her while she was fighting for her life.

Australian Brie Duval was engaged to her love of her life after being together for four years, but that all changed when she fell headlong from a rooftop bar in Canada on August 29, 2020.

She suffered a brain injury and several broken bones and was flown to the University of Alberta hospital, where she was admitted for life support in the intensive care unit.

The 25-year-old posted on TikTok to share details of her trauma and how she found out her partner had cheated on her.

Brie was brought to life while in a coma for three months after a horrific fall.

He described the scenario by saying, “One night you go to a rooftop bar with your friends and the railing collapses, you fall off a high retaining wall in front of the bar and find yourself with your head on the sidewalk.

“So you go into a coma for three months and then you have amnesia for two months. When you finally wake up, you want your phone to call your boyfriend.

When Brie turned on the phone, she got a text from a woman saying her boyfriend had left Brie’s house.

When she woke up from a coma, she realized that her boyfriend had left her with another woman.

“Blah blah blah [referring to fiancé’s name] He moved in with me and now we are together, do not contact him, “wrote the woman.

Brie hasn’t been able to contact her boyfriend and hasn’t heard from him in 11 months.

“He doesn’t care that you nearly died with a 10% chance of living, but you know, at least he’s happy,” she added.

She hasn't heard from the man for 11 months.

Spectators showed their support, saying he had “dodged a bullet”.

“Well, he wasn’t very ‘sick and healthy’ of him, at least you found out before you got married and wasted years with him,” one wrote.

A second called it a “blessing in disguise,” adding, “Marriage is for people who will remain faithful to the person they truly love.”
