The plot focuses on the fate of two brothers who have to pay the price for their mistakes. Yura Borisov took on the role of 27-year-old Kesha, who returned to her native Yakutia after serving her sentence. He is welcomed home by Tim’s father and younger brother (Makar Khlebnikov), who is preparing to enter university. Kesha needs to learn to live again, but circumstances force her to return to her previous lifestyle.
With the help of her father, Kesha finds a job in a gold mining artel. However, the hero realizes that this is not how he imagined his life and wants to leave, but finds himself framed. As a result, he decides to take revenge: Kesha steals the gold bars and goes on the run, taking her brother Tim with her.
The film also stars Dmitry Podnozov, Alexander Mosin, Vasily Shchipitsyn and others. The directors were Vladimir Munkuev and Maxim Arbugaev.
The film has already received its award: it was awarded the Grand Prize “Best Film” – the main prize at the festival of contemporary Russian cinema “Mayak”.
