The cruel dystopia “The Squid Game” impressed even sophisticated viewers. However, although the second season of the series is predicted to be successful, its creator is sure that the series should be completed with a third part.
Series creator Hwang Dong-hyuk told Entertainment Weekly that he had no plans for a long sequel after the first season, but agreed with critics and viewers.
“The story I want to tell will be completely completed at the end of the third season. Everything that I can tell through Gi Hoon will be told in the third season,” the director said in a conversation with the publication.
He stated that he ran out of ideas at the end of shooting the first episode. But a clue has emerged that will help him progress a little further. However, he has seen the entire story for himself in the first season and has no intention of dwelling on the subject.
