The role of Pennywise the Clown seems to have seriously affected Bill Skarsgård’s psyche. He had nightmares about the movie for a while.
The actor played the evil clown in the last two adaptations of Stephen King’s It, released in 2017 and 2019. In an interview with Vanity Fair magazine, 34-year-old Skarsgård said that he started having nightmares after the shooting ended.
“These dreams were very strange. Either I stood up to Pennywise and got angry at him and yelled at him, or I was Pennywise but walked down the streets where I grew up and said: “No, no. I shouldn’t be walking around here in public like this. You can’t do this. “Everything happened in the same apartment where I grew up,” said the actor.
The actor had previously criticized the creators of the movie “It”. Seven years after the release of the thriller, he says the main mistake, in his opinion, made by film bosses.
