According to Cinema Daily Us, 54-year-old Matt Damon, who played Jason Bourne in the first three films of the series, will return to the role in the sixth episode, tentatively titled “The Bourne Dilemma”.

The project will be written and directed by Edward Berger (“All Quiet on the Western Front,” “Conclave”). The previous five films of the saga were The Bourne Identity, The Bourne Supremacy, The Bourne Ultimatum, The Bourne Evolution and Jason Bourne. The first was directed by Doug Liman, the second, third and fifth were directed by Paul Greengrass, and the fourth was directed by Tony Gilroy.
Let’s remember that in The Bourne Identity, released in 2002, Matt Damon played the role of Jason Bourne, a wounded spy suffering from memory loss who was picked up by a fishing boat off the coast of Italy. In the film, Bourne tries to regain his identity and escape from his pursuers who are trying to kill him. The film was based on Robert Ludlum’s 1980 spy thriller.
