The recordings in question are said to date from 1968 and are “very different in sound and length” from the more famous versions. The seven-minute songs include “Up from the Skies”, “Ain’t No Telling”, “Little Miss Lover” and “Stone Free”. They plan to earn 200 thousand pounds from registrations (more than 25 million rubles – Note ed.).

The collection is being sold by Patricia Trixie Sullivan, who was personal assistant to Hendrix manager Mike Jeffery from 1966 to 1973. He worked with his musicians, arranging sessions in recording studios and planning tour schedules. Sullivan has accompanied musicians on tours around the world.

After Jeffery’s death in 1973 he retrieved the materials from his office in central London. In particular, demo and master recordings, as well as other archival materials, remained. “These versions have never been played, distributed or released before and are very different in sound and length from more common examples,” said Propstore auction music consultant Mark Hochman. He said these recordings were “much tighter and smoother”. You can also hear more guitar sounds in them.
