Reprising his iconic roles such as Superman and Geralt, Henry Cavill is preparing to star in the film adaptation of the Voltron anime series. The project will be created by director Rawson Marshall Thurber. Deadline confirmed the news of the actor’s involvement, stating that he will join previously announced star Daniel Quinn-Toye in the film.

The film has been in development since at least 2022. Little is known about the plot yet, but most likely the film will be based on the anime of the same name. The series was released in the 80s and was one of the most iconic Japanese projects of that time. The animated series expanded, eventually expanding to include everything from comic books to video games.

Let us also remind you that it was learned that Henry Cavill left the TV series The Witcher after three seasons of the project. He was replaced by Liam Hemsworth.
