The pop diva’s lover will appear as Grotesque in the new series from American Horror Story writer Ryan Murphy. The first season will consist of 10 episodes and will premiere on September 25. Travis Kelsey’s mother Donna came to the New York premiere of the film to support him.
It wasn’t a huge surprise to her that her son would be on the show. “I know he wants to do this, and I know he can embody this,” Donna Kelsey said, according to Variety. “He’s not afraid to try things, and he’s not afraid to fail,” she added.
The footballer’s mother gave her son some advice: “You know, sometimes parents want to fix their children, but sometimes it’s better to let them fail. You learn the most from the things you fail at. Hopefully, if that’s what he wants to do, he’ll be successful in it.”
The series stars Travis Kelsey as a charming paramedic. The plot of “Grotesque” centers around a series of horrific crimes that shock a small community. Detective Lois Tryon suspects that these crimes are personal in nature and that someone is deliberately torturing her.
